Road Trip Day 1: Summer Storms and Niagara Falls

Well, we kicked off our road trip yesterday with a pretty epic first day.  After a few small road bumps while packing (including accidentally losing my desktop computer, unfortunately) we made our final USPS run on Tuesday morning to get rid of the last of our stuff, loaded up the car and got a quick lunch at All-Star Sandwich shop.

So far we've made awesome progress, driving through a couple of big summer storms that brought visibility to near zero.  We ended up driving all the way up to Buffalo and getting to Niagara Falls just before midnight, then driving to Erie, PA where we crashed at a cheap motel.  Now we’re back on the road and headed to Chicago, where we’re spending the night with Laine’s aunt and uncle.
